I have been searching for that perfect pair sunglasses since, like, ever. And let me tell you, it has been a looong journey. Ray Bans fall off my face, aviators give me bug eyes, black is too harsh, Celine is too expensive and they're just sunglasses for Christ's sake- the list goes on and on. I just wanted something classic and flattering in tortoise and now personally I don't think that's too much to ask but alas, the perfect pair had eluded me... until now. I came across the Californian-based brand Westward Leaning through a little research after seeing Kate Bosworth wearing their glasses at Coachella and instantly fell in love. The label makes one frame, claiming it to be universally flattering, and the only difference between styles is the material inlaid at the temple (each honors a specific human achievement and has a cool story as well). The sunnies have been worn by everyone from Victoria's Secret models to Selena Gomez, Kate Bosworth, Natalie Portman, and more- and let me tell you, they're not lying when they say the look good on everyone.
